Get the Journey Worship Single
"Love Divine"

New music is coming. We've been in the studio and are excited to release nine songs in early 2018. Be on the look out for what is to come..

Our prayer is that people encounter God through these songs. We aim to place words on the lips of worshipers that they may use to ascribe worth and value to our King Jesus.

Donald Shott

Drums Instructor

Donald started playing drums at the age of 8 on a borrowed kit completely unaware that it would become a lifelong passion and career that has spanned decades. He began playing professionally at the age of 15 as a freelance drummer with bands who were twice his age. It was the only job he had ever had.

He was self-taught until high school when he began to learn formally playing in the Symphonic Band. After high school, Donald continued as a full time performing and studio drummer. In the mid 80’s he landed an opportunity to be a student of the legendary Joe Bragg. His time with Joe was invaluable and sent his talent through the roof. While Donald is proficient in all genres, his passion is Jazz-rock fusion.

Currently, Donald is playing with the Journey Church Worship band and as a session drummer. He also continues to teach sticking technique, control, separation and timing exercises to intermediate and pro level drummers.
